Istanbul-Bursa-Izmir Motorway Project Rents Increased 65 Percentage: According to Sahibinden.com data, rental prices on the Istanbul-Bursa-Izmir Motorway Project route increased by 65 compared to last year.
According to the statement made by Sahibinden.com, the Istanbul-Bursa-Izmir Highway Project, which will reduce the transportation time between Istanbul and Izmir to 3,5 hours, and the section up to Bursa is expected to be completed at the end of the year, stimulated the real estate market on this route.
Sahibinden.com investigated the changes in property prices on the project route between January and February in 2014 and 2015. Accordingly, in the first two months of this year compared to the same period of the previous year, the highest increase in advertisements in real estate for sale was in Orhangazi. Orhangazi, where 146 percent increase in the number of ads, was followed by İzmir with a 74 percent increase. In the same period, the region with the highest price increase per square meter in real estate for sale was Gebze with 19 percent. Dilovasi followed Gebze with an increase of 14 percent.
According to the rental property data, the highest increase in advertisements in the period covering January and February 2015 compared to the same period of the previous year was experienced in Gebze with 86 percent. İzmir followed Gebze with an increase of 44%.
Looking at the increase in square meter prices in rental properties, Orhangazi ranked first with 65 percent. Orhangazi was followed by Izmit with 11 percent and Izmir with 9 percent.
