According to the data announced weekly by the US Railways Association (AAR), freight transport by wagon decreased by 5,6 percent in the same period, while Intermodal transport increased by 284 percent to 935 thousand 5,0. In the same week, rail transportation in Canada was 278 thousand 345 wagons with an increase of 6,0 percent, while in Mexico it was determined as 145 thousand 439 wagons with an increase of 6,1 percent. Thus, North America's total rail transport rose by 28 percent to 162 thousand 0,8.
