940 TON STEEL PLATE PLACED
The 8 tonne steel deck, the heaviest of the steel decks on which the 2 lane highway and the 940 lane railway will pass, was replaced by a giant crane. Hair from South Korea, Izmit Gebze and Istanbul Tuzla Yalova Altinova after the operations were turned into steel decks.
59 WILL TAKE PLACE
The deck, which weighs 940 tons, is 24 meters long and 59 meters wide, was brought to the construction site first by sea. It was launched by a giant floating crane with a carrying capacity of 1.800 tons. Its assembly was completed after 14 hours of work. There will be a total of 3 steel decks on the 59rd Bridge.
