Within the scope of the event organized by the Look for Peace Platform, the 'Peace Train', which departed from Istanbul on March 11 and planned to visit 21 provinces until March 10, arrived in Kayseri. Ferhat Akmermer, General Coordinator of the Kayseri School of Thought, who hosted the delegation arriving by train and arriving by train, made an assessment at the welcoming ceremony, “It is time for Turkey to get rid of the shackles on its feet. "Let's never make concessions to those who want to cause discord in this society that has lived together in brotherhood for centuries"... Coordinator Ferhat Akmermer was greeted by the citizens with the marches of the Metropolitan Municipality Marching Band.

Speaking at the welcoming ceremony held at the Garda, General Coordinator of the Kayseri School of Thought Ferhat Akmermer emphasized that they believe that terrorism, one of the most important problems of Turkey, will be ended with the solution process, and said, “To end the terror scourge that stole our country's future and caused us to live our past 40 years full of pain, it will help our country's economic, social and cultural development. In addition, we are together to end terrorism, which is the biggest obstacle to social peace and prosperity, and to embrace peace towards peace. The peace process has now reached its final stage. After disarmament, Turkey will march towards brand new targets. It is time for Turkey to get rid of the shackles on its feet. Let's never make concessions to those who want to cause discord in this society that has lived together in brotherhood for centuries.”

We have been through a painful process for many years. A lot of blood was shed in the country, we lost labor, we lost money. While our country could go forward, we skated where we were. This year, we will experience two springs. The support of the society as insurance to the solution process continues to a very significant extent”, he said.

Guest group members, Metropolitan Municipality Secretary General Mustafa Yalçın and Kayseri School of Thought General Coordinator Ferhat Akmermer planted a Peace Sapling in Kurşunlu Park. Journalist Nagehan Alçı, who came to Kayseri by train, accompanied the planting of saplings.
