Flash development in the Üçkuyular-Narlıdere subway tender: The tender for the 8.5 kilometer metro between İzmir Municipality and Üçkuyular-Narlıdere was postponed.
The tender for the new metro line of 8.5 kilometers between Üçkuyular Fahrettin Altay and Narlıdere Engineering School, which was planned by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality with its own resources, was postponed.
Izmir Light Rail System 4. The feasibility report and tender documents of the so-called phase of the route and the preparation of the application projects for the first 4 kilometer (5 station) of the line were canceled. The tender that the municipality previously announced as 10 in February was postponed to April. The studies were two months after the decision.
After the tender to be made by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Rail Systems Branch, the process of construction will start. The Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, General Directorate of Infrastructure Investments will be accelerated after the necessary permits are obtained.
ON-OFF TUNNEL
The length of the Fahrettin Altay-Narlıdere line, which will be an extension of the Bornova-Üçkuyular metro line, will be 20 kilometers long. In the first part of the planned route with 8.5 station, there will be Balçova, Çağdaş, Dokuz Eylül University Medical Faculty Hospital, Fine Arts Faculty and 10 underground station determined as Narlıdere. The second phase will be the 5 underground station until the Narlıdere Engineering Regiment. The whole route is planned to be made as an open and close tunnel.
