Another Izmir firm SAFKAR will air-condition Izmir's Tramways: Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Konak and Karşıyaka Hyundai Rotem, which will produce the 38 set tram under the tender for Gülermak Construction, who won the Tram Project, signed a contract with SAFKAR for the air conditioning system of the trams to be produced in Adapazarı plants.
Deliveries of air conditioners which are approved in international accredited test centers and designed in accordance with İzmir climatic conditions will start in July 2015.
