New asphalt plant in Istanbul: ISFALT, which meets 70 percent of Istanbul's asphalt need, is preparing to increase its annual asphalt production potential of 5 million tons.

Not only in Turkey, Europe's largest asphalt producers among companies, Bolluca Transportation and R & D Center and the Asphalt Plant with an annual capacity in this area will increase to 1,5 million tons.
ISFALT is planning to establish “Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality ISFALT Bolluca Transport and R&D Center and Asphalt Plant Plant” in Bolluca Village, Arnavutköy district of Istanbul.
According to the introduction file prepared in the environmental impact assessment process for the project, 9 million 900 thousand pounds will be invested for the facility.
Within the scope of the project, road maintenance, R & D and laboratory, and maintenance and repair works of winter working vehicles and asphalt production will be realized.
The facility will be established in the 391 thousand square meters area on the 21 acres land, which is the former coal furnace, and 2 will serve as a closed area of ​​one thousand square meters.
The project will consist of administrative building, construction site, warehouse building, cafeteria and staff dressing building, workshop and 3 asphalt plant facility.
Hot asphalt production facility, recycling system will be applied. In this way, asphalt masses scraped from the roads will be shredded and crushed by means of impact crushers, then asphalt plants will be mixed in different ratios according to the asphalt type and reused in the production will save aggregate and bitumen.
With the recycling system, excessive use of natural resources will be prevented. This will also help to protect the environment and prevent global warming.
The annual asphalt production capacity of the plant will be 1 million tonnes. 530 personnel will work during the operation phase of the project.
