Istanbul Suburban lines will be opened in 2015: Haydarpaşa-Gebze and Sirkeci-, which were closed in 2013 due to infrastructure and YHT works.Halkalı is planned to be opened in 2015 year.

Haydarpaşa-Pendik suburban line, which made its last flight on June 19, 2013, is aimed to be integrated with the YHT project. The line, which is planned to be completed in 24 months, is expected to be renewed in the first phase up to the Anatolian Side-Söğütlüçeşme and put into service again in June 2015. According to the news of Aziz Özen from Hürriyet Newspaper, the line will be built as 3 roads and within the scope of the renovation project, the station buildings, most of which are in the status of historical monuments, will also be restored.

Historic buildings to be restored
TCDD officials stated that tenders for the restoration of historical stations have been made and permits have been issued and that some of the buildings will continue to be used as stations. The officials said that high speed train tickets will be sold in Bostancı, Maltepe and Erenköy and Kızıltoprak station will be removed, and Feneryolu station will stop, but a separate miniature station will be built there.

Gebze-Halkalı 105 minutes
Kazlıçeşme, which was closed for the purpose of integration with the Marmaray ProjectHalkalı line is planned to open in March 2015. While 5 km of the Bakırköy-Kazlıçeşme line, which is considered as the first stage, is expected to be added to Marmaray this year, Zeytinburnu and Yenimahalle stations are expected to be added on the line.
