In order to ensure a safe course on the roads, the Directorate of Road Construction and Infrastructure Coordination carried out a patch, maintenance and repair work in many parts of the city before the asphalt season, and the team started to form an 3 team at the beginning of the season and announced that the roads would be paved.
According to information received, in the work of the infrastructure and the new road work in the city center and districts will be poured as 260 thousand tons of asphalt; 8 meters wide 7 cm thick about 190 mileage will be made asphalt.
THREE 110 KM ROAD WORKS IN RURAL
As part of the preparations for the asphalt season of 2015, the tender processes of the road works to be carried out in 13 district were brought to the completion stage and road teams were created. With the completion of tender processes and weather conditions, 5 mileage covering, 700 mileage stabilization, 400 kilometer stabilized, 10 mileage paving stone, and a total of one thousand 110 kilometers road work will be carried out in rural areas.
In our city, where approximately 5 thousand 600 kilometers is a total rural road network, only rural activities during the year will correspond to approximately 20 of the total road and work to be carried out only in rural road network will be spent on 60 million pounds.
260 THOUSAND TON ASPHALT
Road Construction Maintenance and Infrastructure Coordination Department, infrastructure works and new road works, the city center and districts will pour 260 thousand tons of asphalt, 8 meter-wide 7 cm thick 190 mile asphalt will be laid.
Within the scope of this program, while the cost of 14 thousand tons of bitumen and 5 thousand tons of asphalt in the asphalt works is invested in TUPRAS, so far, thousand 200 tonnes of bitumen stocks have been withdrawn and the tender process for the purchase of 80 thousand aggregates continues. 210 thousand tons of asphalt contractors in these works, while 50 thousand tons of asphalt will be poured by the teams of our Metropolitan Municipality.
In addition, 30 thousand tons of asphalt will be used in the patch works of the city center and village group roads, and for these works approximately 40 million will be spent. Work will continue with the patch team 3 where the rainwater network works and patch works.
