Today, Safi Holding in the statement of Safi Holding Safi Derince International Port Operations Inc. 25 February 543 million dollars on Wednesday Prime Minister of the Republic of Turkey Privatization Presidency announced that the port received the payment. Derince Port will be operated by Safi Derince International Port Management for 39 year.
The statement also stated that Safi Holding will expand its existing port in the direction of Gölcük, with an area of 450 meters and a thousand meters parallel to the shore. Approximately 450 million cubic meters of filling material will be used for this filling process. There will also be a ceremony at the Derince Port.
