Balıkesir Gökköy Logistics Center Entered Service: Balıkesir (Gökköy) Logistics Center was completed to make Balıkesir one of the most important logistics centers in the world. With the realization of Tekirdağ-Bandırma Tren-Feri Project; With the commissioning of the Kars-Tbilisi-Baku railway line, all kinds of cargoes produced in Balıkesir and its surroundings will be easily transported from Balıkesir (Gökköy) Logistics Center which will be connected to Asia.

Logistics center in the first place automobile, container, chipboard, MDF, marble products, food (meat and dairy products, dry food, etc.), Kaolin, fiber and synthetic materials, beverage materials, coal, military loads, iron ore, industrial products, etc. . transports to be made.

These centers; Balıkesir (Gökköy) together with 7 logistics center; Samsun (Gelemen), Uşak, Denizli (Kaklik), Izmit (Kosekoy), Eskisehir (Hasanbey) and Halkalı has been put into operation. 5 continues the construction works of the logistics center. The project, expropriation and construction tendering procedures are continuing for other logistics centers.

With the launch of all logistics centers, the 27 million tons of additional transportation facility, 9 million square meters, open space, stock area, container stock and handling area will be added to the Turkish logistics sector annually.
