According to the data released weekly by the US Railways Association (AAR), wagon and freight transportation decreased by 7,0 percent to 267 thousand 60, while Intermodal transportation decreased by 6,3 percent to 241 thousand 598. In the same week, rail transportation in Canada increased by 6,8 percent to 133 thousand 541 wagons, while in Mexico it was determined as 1,0 thousand 27 wagons with a decrease of 474 percent. Thus, the total rail transport of North America decreased by 4,0 percent to 669 thousand 673.
