Gaziray Project Must Be Realized: Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin, who is seeking a solution by regularly bringing projects and problems about Gaziantep to the agenda of the authorities in Ankara, held 4 important meetings during the day-to-day visit.
One of the most important problems of Gaziantep, the State Railways (TCDD) General Manager Ömer Yıldız discussed the Gaziray project and said that the project should be accelerated and this is one of the important needs of the city.
Sahin, who later visited the General Directorate of State Airports Authority (DHMI), raised issues related to the area where many flights were canceled this year. Serdar Hüseyin Yıldırım, General Manager, conveyed his thoughts on the renewal and expansion of the Airport.
President Şahin, who held the third meeting of the day with the Ambassador of Japan, Yutaka Yokoi, talked about how to make more Japanese tourists come to Gaziantep and what can be done about some of the issues that emerged in the recent Japan trip.
Then, he met with Qatar Ambassador Salem Mubarek al-Shafi about Gaziantep's industry, trade, tourism and general structure. In the coming months, El Shafi discussed the details of some projects to be realized by the state of Qatar in Gaziantep.
