Weekly Railway Traffic Volume in the USA Increased 3,5 Percent: In the week ended with February 14, the total volume of rail transportation in the USA increased by 3,5 percent compared to the same week and became 525 wagons. According to the data announced weekly by the United States Railways Association (AAR), freight transport by wagon increased by 224 percent during the same period, while Intermodal transport decreased by 6,7 percent to 288 thousand 959. In the same week, rail transportation in Canada was 0,1 wagons with an increase of 236 percent, while in Mexico it was determined as 265 wagons with an increase of 8,6 percent. Thus, the total rail transportation of North America increased by 137 percent to 383.
