Hanım Bridge to be Restored

The Hanım Bridge Will Be Restored: It has been reported that a work has been initiated for the restoration of the historical Hanım Bridge on the Pülümür Creek, at the exit of the Pülümür district of Tunceli.
In his statement to the correspondent AA, Pülümür District Governor Mekan Çeviren stated that the General Directorate of Highways has decided to renovate the Hanım Bridge after their correspondence as District Governor.
Translating that the historical bridge, which has been registered and protected by the High Council of Natural Assets decision no. 1986 and 1839, has collapsed, “At the request of our District Governorate, a tender will be held on 8 January 14 for maintenance and repair. If there is no disruption during the tender process, its restoration will begin in April or May and it is planned to be completed in 2015 years ”.
Pointing out that the Hanım Bridge is of great importance and feature in terms of history, Çeviren emphasized that they believe that the restoration of the bridge will make Pülümür the center of historical tourism.
