Alanya-Antalya Highway is on the road: Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Lütfi Elvan stated that Antalya has made 12 quadrillion 3 million investments in the field of transportation in the last 100 years, and has given good news, especially high speed train and divided road to Antalya.
Speaking at the AKP Antalya Provincial Congress held at KEPEZ Turgut Özal Sports Hall, Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Minister Lütfi Elvan noted that Antalya has received 12 quadrillion and 3 million investments in the field of transportation in the past 100 years. Minister Elvan said, “We will connect Antalya to Alanya by highway. We will go on the project in 2015. The person who leaves from Antalya will not be stuck on the lights. We will tender this year with the build-operate-transfer model. We will realize the highway project that connects Antalya to İzmir in the perspective of 2023. We will not bid in the tender in 2015, but in the coming years. We will do it before 2023 ”.
'PROJECT'S MOST ENDED'
Elvan said that there is an 23 tunnel on the line connecting Antalya to Alanya with Gazipaşa, 'We completed a significant part. 50 kilometers left. In 2016 we will connect the 50 kilometer with tunnels. We will meet Antalya with Mersin. We have a road project from Kumluca to Finike, which is divided into Kaş Kalkan. Project work is about to be completed. We'il make it a divided road. We will take part in the tender for the completed sections of the project. We're gonna make the way to Elmali-Kas. We gave instructions. We will do it again from head to toe, O he said.
