Tuzla is coming to Havaray line

The Tuzaray Havaray line is coming: The button was pressed in Tuzla for the havaray to be used to relieve the traffic in Istanbul. The tender date of the Tuzla Havaray Project, which covers approximately 100 kilometers between the D-5 Highway and the Beach, has been determined.
The routes of the “havaray”, known as “air tram” that will form the infrastructure of the main metro backbone planned by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, have been determined.
While some of the projects of Havaray are being removed, some of them continue their studies. Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality has a total of 8 havaray projects. These projects include Beyoğlu-Şişli (5,8 kilometers), Zincirlikuyu-Beşiktaş-Sarıyer (4,5 kilometers), 4. Levent -Gültepe-Çeliktepe-Levent (5,5 kilometers), Ataşehir-Ümraniye (10,5 kilometers) , Sefaköy-Kuyumcukent-Airport (7,2 kilometers), Maltepe-Başıbüyük (3,6 kilometers), Kartal Beach-D 100-Tuzla (5 kilometers) and Sabiha Gökçen Airport-Formula (7,7 kilometers).

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality started to publish tender notices for havaray lines. The tender date for Tuzla Havaray Project service procurement has been announced by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Transportation Planning Directorate. Tuzla Havaray Project will be tendered on February 2, 2015. The duration of the project work, which was put out to a wide tender, was determined as 240 days in the specification.

With the extension of the Havaray line to Tuzla, integrated transportation will be provided with Viaport Marin, which is planned to be built on Marmaray, metro, beach and foreseen 25 million visitors annually.

Emphasizing that Havara is a project that will ease the traffic load with the reduction of density and alternative transportation network, Yazıcı said, “We are excited that this project will start in Tuzla. Havaray will merge with Tuzla Marina. Two amazing projects that cannot even be imagined will embrace in Tuzla. Havaray will be a milestone in Istanbul traffic. Having the first starting point of the project in Tuzla will add privilege to our district. I would like to thank our Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Kadir Topbaş for Havaray projects. ”
Yazıcı pointed out that the air will contribute to the region economically and socially. “This project, which belongs to the location of Tuzla, Istanbul's gateway to Anatolia, will increase the reasons for coming to Tuzla in domestic and foreign tourism. Tuzla will gain a brand new identity with the implementation of this project. Although we are the border district of Istanbul, we will gain the feature of a central district with marina and havaray. ”
