Speaking to Anadolu Agency (AA), Ali Osman Karamercan, President of the Union of Chambers of Konya Tradesmen and Craftsmen, said that YHT flights, which started with Ankara and then continued with Eskişehir and Istanbul, were almost lifeline to Konya.
Karamercan emphasized that the number of Mevlana friends who visited the city caused an increase in both the time and the comfort of travel, he said:

Mevlana guests who came to Konya from Ankara and Istanbul by YHT also stated that they were happy to travel comfortably in a shorter time compared to the highway, and added that they had to book a ticket for YHT travel a few days in advance.
