China to build Beijing-Moscow railway line with 242 billion-dollar investment

China will build the Beijing-Moscow railway line with an investment of $ 242 billion: China will build a 1,5 trillion yuan ($ 242 billion) railway linking Beijing and Moscow.
According to the news in Bloomberg, the total length of the railway will be 7 thousand kilometers. The railway will pass through Kazakhstan and arrive from Beijing to Moscow in 2 days, thus facilitating travel from Beijing to Moscow and shortening the time spent on the journey.
In the report, it was stated that China put forward its high-speed technologies in the field of railways at the international level and the railway construction news came out to save the Russian economy due to the deterioration of the relations between the USA, Europe and Russia due to the Ukraine crisis and falling oil prices.
The Russian Transport Ministry, the Russian Railways, the Development and Reform Committee of the People's Republic of China and the China Railway Construction Corporation signed a mutual understanding memorandum on high speed rail connectivity in October 2014. In the statement made by the Russian Railways, it was stated that the purpose of this memorandum was the realization of the Moscow-Beijing Eurasia Transport Corridor project.
