Beware of dirty and poisonous weather in the subway

Attention to polluted and poisonous air in the metro: CHP's Özgür Aydın from Kadir Topbaş, the metro question, which brings the issue of polluted and toxic air measurement in metro underground passages, human and environmental health, the safety of metro and public transportation vehicles to the agenda of the IMM Assembly. Özgür Aydın, a member of the CHP of the IMM Assembly, asked the IMM President Topbaş the following questions: “Fresh air and oxygen are needed as a result of underground passages and the extension of underground stations for kilometers. Public transport in Istanbul and Kadıköy-Kartal, Yenikapı-Taksim-Hacıosman, Esenler-Başakşehir underground Metro; Are the necessary measures taken regarding the risks that may arise, human and environmental health? What are the studies for taking the necessary measures against possible dangers? In public transport and Metro; How to clean the hygiene and hygiene conditions that are very important for human health? What are the studies done? Are precautions taken against the dirty and poisonous air at the underground transit stations and are the necessary measurements taken? ”

It is obvious that there is a greater need for public transport in Istanbul and the traffic density is increasing day by day. In addition, underground transportation is increasing day by day. Oxygen is also needed in fresh air due to underground passages and underground stations. With increasing traffic and increasing public transportation, problems are increasing and the importance of human health and safety in public transportation is increasing day by day. In this context;

  1. On public transport in Istanbul and Kadıköy-Kartal, Yenikapı-Taksim-Hacıosman, Esenler-Başakşehir underground Metro; Are the necessary measures taken regarding the risks that may arise, human and environmental health? What are the studies for taking the necessary measures against possible dangers?
  2. In public transport and metros; How are the cleaning and hygiene requirements which are very important for human health? What are the work done?
  3. Do underground and subterranean underground stations take precautions against dirty and toxic air and do the necessary measurements?
  4. Are radioactive gas, air quality measurements and tests carried out at Metro underground transit stations in Istanbul? If so, what are the results of the measurements made? If not, do you plan to measure? If yes, how often is it done? Do you have any data? Do you intend to make it public?
