Final turn in the privatization of Palandoken Ski Center

As a result of the privatization of Palandöken Ski Center: Palandöken and Konaklı Ski Centers, which were decided to be privatized by the Privatization Administration, were reported to be transferred first to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and then to the Metropolitan Municipality upon completion of the bureaucratic procedures.

There was a surprise development for the Palandöken and Konaklı Ski Centers, which were within the scope of privatization. Last week, in Ankara, it was decided to transfer the skiing centers to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and then to the Metropolitan Municipality at the summit with Interior Minister Efkan Ala and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek.

Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality, which has demanded the ski centers which are included in the scope of privatization by the Privatization Administration, continues its initiatives in this regard. The meeting of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu, Mehmet Sekmen, once again conveyed his demand at the Ankara summit to the Minister of Finance, Mehmet Şimşek. At the end of the interview, the privatization of the facilities was abandoned and the issue of the transfer to the municipality was discussed.
Coming together with Interior Minister Efkan Ala and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek for the acceleration of the transfer of works, the delegation returned from Ankara full of hand. As bureaucratic operations can reach this season, ski centers will be transferred to the Youth and Sports Ministry and then to the Metropolitan Municipality of Erzurum.

In order to make use of the Privatization Administration, the allocations from the Ministry of Development in three different ways will be made available to the Metropolitan Municipality of Erzurum. The decision to sign the Ministry of Finance was announced next week. This source will be used primarily for the maintenance of mechanical facilities.
