Sakarya: 2 people struck by Adaray, died


Two people struck by Adaray in Sakarya died: In Adapazarı district of Sakarya, two university students, one of whom was a girl, were struck by Adaray.

According to the information received, the suburban train carrying passengers between the city center and Arifiye district hit ZK (19) and T.D (20) near the Donatım level crossing. K. and D. died on the spot.

It was learned that the two young people were students of Sakarya University Health Services Vocational School. Police searched for a while on the side of the rails whether there were torches and belongings of the bodies. Following the work of the crime scene investigation teams, the bodies of Kılıç and Dündar were sent to the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute.

Sakarya University Rector Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Elmas came to the scene and received information from the authorities. Elmas said in a statement to the reporters that the incident was an accident or a suicide, after the prosecution's investigation. Stating that he was told that the deceased were university students, Elmas said, “There is no detailed information yet. It will probably emerge in the later hours, ”he said.
