The location of the bridge has been changed: The location of the bridge on the Çınarlı stream in the Lapseki district of Çanakkale has been taken to the line of menderes street.
The bridge over the Çınarlı stream located in the Lapseki district was aligned with the menderes street in line with the demands of the citizens. During the Bursa-Izmir highway road passing through the Lapseki district, a pedestrian crossing was constructed to the bridge. Citizens claimed that two bridges were not functional and demanded to be relocated. The municipal authorities acted on request and changed the location of the bridge. During the transportation process of the bridge removed by means of a crane, the Çanakkale-İzmir highway was closed for a short time.
