4 hours 15 minutes with Konya-Istanbul YHT: High Speed ​​Train between Konya and Istanbul starts its services today. Travel time between the two cities will be reduced to 4 hours and 15 minutes.

Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Lütfi Elvan, announced that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu will also attend the opening ceremony of the High Speed ​​Train service in Konya.

Minister Elvan said that with the opening to be held before the "Seb-i Arus" ceremonies, which means the day of reunion, Konya and Istanbul will meet each other.

Between Konya and Istanbul, you can travel by bus at 10-11 hour, with old trains at 13 hour. With the opening of the high-speed train line, this time 4 hours will fall to 15 minutes.

2 departure per day, 2 arrival

Elvan said he would start with two arrivals each day. Trains to move from Istanbul Pendik to 07.10 and 18.30 will follow the route to Izmit, Arifiye, Bozuyuk, Eskisehir and Konya.

With the addition of Konya-Istanbul flights to the daily schedule of the High Speed ​​Train, 10 times a day between Ankara and Istanbul, 14 times a day between Ankara and Konya, 8 times a day between Ankara and Eskişehir.

Ticket prices will start from 42,5 lira

Passengers who book early tickets will travel at prices starting from 42,5. Full type of economy type 85 lira, 'business' type full bills will be paid 119 pounds.

Young people, teachers, members of the TSK, 60-64 age, press members and passengers who receive round-trip tickets will receive 20 discounts.

7-12 aged and 65 passengers over the age of 50 will travel as a discount.

The 'plus' service option will also apply. Passengers will be able to buy breakfast in the morning service and dinner in the evening.
