Iran-Turkmenistan-Kazakhstan railway line opened: Iran-Turkmenistan-Kazakhstan international train line opened with the participation of presidents of three countries.
In a press release from Iran's Embassy in Ankara, it was stated that the Iran-Turkmenistan-Kazakhstan international train line was opened with an opening in Tehran, attended by Iranian President Hasan Ruhani, Turkmenistan President Gurbanguli Berdimuhammedov and Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

The Turkmenistan-Iran section of the railway was opened by opening. The Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan project was activated in May last year.
With the railroad opened, it is aimed to create a low-cost and fast transportation corridor for cargo transportation from Europe to Central and South Asia and the Middle East. It is stated that the new railway network will also contribute to the development of trade between the countries of the region.

The amount of cargo to be transported in the next period is expected to increase to 10-12 million tons. The 82 kilometer of the railway line is Iran, the 700 kilometer is Turkmenistan, and the 120 kilometer passes through the borders of Kazakhstan.
