Highway Investments in Gümüşhane: AK Party Gümüşhane Deputy Kemalettin Aydın said that Gümüşhane had its golden age in land investment, and the purchase of quotations for the new Zigana Tunnel, which will connect the Eastern Black Sea to Central Anatolia and Southeastern Anatolia, continues.

Aydın stated that the projects had a chance to come to life as a result of the feverish works and contacts carried out in front of the ministries and said:

In the new Zigana Tunnel tender that we put out to tender on November 10, 2014, the price quotations will end on January 29, 2015 and digging will be done within a month or two. In addition, while the split roads of Gümüşhane-Pirahmet, Pirahmet-Bayburt, Arzular-Yayladere, Pirahmet-Kelkit, Kelkit-Erzincan continue at full speed, the project works on the roads of Köse and Kurdish continue. The remaining 5-6 kilometers of Ikisu-Tersun road will be tendered again and completed this summer.
