Gendarmerie Search and Rescue Team Ready for Ski Season: Gendarmerie Search and Rescue (JAK) teams operating in Erciyes Ski Center in Kayseri started to work with two new UTV vehicles with crawler for the new season.

Gendarmerie Search and Rescue (JAK) teams operating in Erciyes Ski Center in Kayseri started to work for the new season with two new UTV vehicles.

In the summer and winter seasons, on the Erciyes Mountain, the JAK Team, consisting of 2 petty officers and 8 specialist sergeants and 10 specialist sergeants for the purpose of rescuing the skiers, went on the runway with two new UTV vehicles. The JAK team, which will perform patrol missions with 5 snow engines throughout the season, will assist those staying on the mountain road with UTV vehicles. Injured skiers will be carried on a ski stretcher, which is attached to the snowmobile.
