Tarsusta Train Accident 1 Dead: An unidentified young man who wanted to cross the tracks in Tarsus District of MERSİN died after the passenger train was hit.
The accident occurred in the evening in Yenice Town, Kamber Höyüğü District. Allegedly, an unidentified teenager wanted to cross the tracks. Meanwhile, passenger train 62217, which was going from Adana to Mersin, hit the young man on the rails. The driver who stopped the train immediately after the accident called the gendarmerie and 112 Emergency, and reported the situation. The medical teams who came to the accident site determined that the young person, who was not identified, died. Following the investigation by the Gendarmerie crime scene investigation teams and the Public Prosecutor, the young man's body was taken to the Tarsus State Hospital.
Passengers who experienced the shock of the accident went to Mersin on another train.
