The 3rd Bridge increased the land prices by 300 percent: Nazmi Durbakayım, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Istanbul Constructors Association (İNDER), pointed to the dynamism that mega projects in the field of transportation have brought to the housing sector. Durbakayım stated that Marmaray unites two continents and that metrobus makes it easy for citizens to go to places such as Beylikdüzü, Sefaköy, Avcılar, Florya in E-5 traffic, and that it provides significant increases in housing prices. Stating that house prices in the areas close to Marmaray and metrobus stations have increased by up to 75 percent, Durbakayım emphasized that this is an important rate. Giving information about the value increases brought to the region by the 3rd Bridge, which will connect the continents and will be the pearl of the Bosphorus, and the 3rd Airport to be built in Istanbul, Durbakayım said that the land prices in this region “fly” as the people say. Durbakayım said, "The start of the construction of the 3rd Bridge and the 3rd Airport has increased the land values ​​in these regions up to 300 percent as of now."
