2 to be built between Mustafa Yavuz and Akçakale Stations within the scope of çak Gaziantep - Akçakale - Nusaybin Railway Project X of the General Directorate of State Railways. The EIA report prepared by MGS Proje Engineering company was approved and the EIA process was initiated in the tender for the railway line and the rehabilitation of the existing line.
According to the information received by the Investments Magazine; TCDD 2015 investment project of the project in question was recorded. Earlier, the Ministry of Development was applied to the project to be included in the 2014 investment program. The Ministry of Development continued its review.
The project covers the provinces of Gaziantep, Şehitkamil, Oğuzeli, Nizip and Karkamış and the Birecik, Suruç and Akçakale districts of Şanlıurfa.
Mustafayavuz, Oduncular Banliyo Station, Mürşitpınar and Akçakale stations will be stopped on the existing line, and Hayrat, Türkyurdu, Yuva and Yeşildağ Stations will be canceled and the Nizip station will be replaced.
