Some Roads Between Mahmutbey and Çorlu Will Be Closed to Traffic: The Governorship of Istanbul announced that some roads will be closed to traffic from tomorrow due to the work to be done between Mahmutbey and Çorlu.

In the explanations regarding the road works of the Governorship of Istanbul, the following statements were stated: 'The Superstructure Improvement Construction Work of the Viaduct and Approaches on the Highway and Connection Roads between Mahmutbey - Çorlu Köprülü Interchange which was controlled by the 1st Regional Directorate of Highways and continued by the contractor company'. Within the scope of the works, it has been reported that the superstructure repair and renovation works will be carried out in the section between TEM (O3) Highway Mahmutbey Gişeler - Avcılar Intersection and Yarimburgaz Viaduct and Ispartakule Viaduct.
These studies are; The TEM (O3) Motorway will be built first in the direction of Avcılar - Mahmutbey (South transport road), and after the completion of the works, the road will be closed to lane lane traffic by moving to Mahmutbey - Avcılar (North transport road). The superstructure of the viaduct will be renewed by repairing the superstructure in the strips closed on the viaduct by closing 2 lanes of traffic from Yarimburgaz Viaduct and then from Ispartakule Viaduct respectively.
Works will start on 22.11.2014 on Saturday at 21.30 and 15.12.2014 is scheduled to be completed on Monday at 06.00. Between these dates, work will be carried out every day between 21.30-06.00 hours and every day at 06.00, all lanes will be kept open to traffic.
All necessary safety measures will be taken during the mentioned works and traffic signs will be made.
Drivers need to adhere to the traffic signs and pins on the road meticulously.
