Highways will construct Sivas's Northern ring road: One of the projects of Sivas Municipality, Northern Ring Road will be built by Highways. The ring road, which is expected to relieve Sivas city traffic, will be built by the Regional Directorate of Highways.
As a result of the negotiations with the Ministry of Transport in early November, the road was approved by the Highways. The Northern Ring Road, which is being taken to the National Highway network, is expected to start next year.
Feridun Bilgin, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, who has been involved in the National Highways network, stated that the road contributed significantly. The Northern ring road has been taken into the network of national highways, officials said that the next year will be done about the final projects, and then the road will be tender.
The authorities, who noted that the General Directorate of Highways will prepare the projects in 2015 and that the procedures related to expropriation and consent will be resolved by the Municipality on the route where the road will pass, Sivas traffic will be relieved with the construction of the ring road.
It is envisaged that the approximately 18 road will enter the Seyfeli area and follow the Fatih Quarter to connect to the airport road from the Stables region.
