Northern Marmara Highway Tender to be held on 6 March 2015: Minister Fikri Işık said that the tenders for the construction, operation and transfer of the Northern Marmara Highway Project connection roads, Kurtköy-Akyazı section and Kınalı-Odayeri section, will be held on 6 March 2015. .
Science Industry and Technology Minister Fikri Işık stated that the Northern Marmara Motorway Project, which was announced by the Minister of Transport, Lütfü Elvan in the Parliamentary Plan-Budget Commission and which will pass through Gebze, is very important for the region. He explained that when the highway project is put into practice, the surrounding settlements will be relieved in terms of economy and transportation. Minister Fikri Işık announced that the tender for the construction, operation and transfer of the Kurtköy-Akyazı section and the Kınalı-Odayeri section, including the 3rd Bosphorus Bridge, connection roads of the Northern Marmara Highway Project, will be held on 6 March. Stating that the tender announcements related to the construction, operation and transfer of the highway were published in the Official Gazette, Minister Işık also stated that as of 4 November, those who will participate in the tender will send their offers to the General Directorate of Highways. The 361 kilometer-long highway will start from Adapazarı and reach Kınalı from the 3rd Bosphorus Bridge.
