Historic Ottoman bridge restored

The historical Ottoman bridge was restored: Sarpdere Bridge, one of the most important bridges between Ordu and Sivas, which was built in the 1870s during the Ottoman Empire in the Ulubey district of Ordu, was restored.
The historical Ottoman bridge, whose restoration works were initiated by the District Governor of the Period, whose survey was prepared by the 7th Regional Directorate of Highways Samsun, was approved by the Samsun Regional Board of Protection of Cultural and Natural Heritage, and was restored after a two-year study. The historical bridge, which is not used because it is below the existing road route, was opened to pedestrian traffic.
