Security officers at ESTRAM stops dismissing the claim: Eskisehir Light Rail System (ESTRAM) tram stops working while working in the security officers made a press release.
Speaking on behalf of the security officers gathered in front of a shopping center in the old Bağlar Mahallesi, Emre Güngör said that they started to work as security guards at the stations of the newly opened tram lines some time ago through a private security company.
After about 1 month after 3 without any justification that the 50 person was dismissed Güngör, said:
“It was said that new lines would open and security guards were needed. My friends applied to work and got hired. In the summer heat, we worked without a security cabin. Our only goal was to win our bread. They called us to the security company yesterday evening for a 'meeting'. They said that ESTRAM was going to shrink on the grounds that the number of passengers on the newly opened lines was not sufficient and our work was terminated. Also, some friends were not dismissed. We wonder what they set this for. There are those who are married and have children. We expect support from the Metropolitan Mayor, Mr. Yılmaz Büyükerşen. ”
Security officials disbanded after the press release.
