Russia and Norway to connect with tunnel

Russia and Norway will be merged with the tunnel: 2016 meters will be built by 690 meters in Russia and Norway.
It was stated that the tunnel will be the element of the new road infrastructure between the Norwegian border and the Russian territory. The tunnel is today the only road connecting the two neighboring countries. As is known, the distance between Murmansk and Kirkenes is 105 kilometers long.
"The construction of the tunnel and its surrounding system will cost 33,2 million euros," said the Barentsobserver website. The construction is planned to be completed in 2016 ”.
This tunnel will be called the "Trifonov Tunnel". The project foresees the construction of a new bridge over the Paz River and a few kilometers of road in this area. The Norwegian administration reported that the new part of the road infrastructure will significantly facilitate the lives of the citizens of the two countries and increase the number of travelers.
