Old Woman Under the Train Lost Her Life: A 92-year-old woman who wanted to cross the street using the level crossing died in the Salihli District of MANİSA.
The incident occurred in Salihli's Fevzipaşa Street in the evening. Şehriban Candan, who wanted to cross the street using the level crossing, was under the freight train number 33361 under the direction of the Machinist İdris Memiş. Candan, drifting about 30 meters under the train, died at the scene. The lifeless body of Candan, learned to live alone, was removed to the morgue of Salihli State Hospital. While an investigation was underway about the accident, the train services stopped for about 1 hour.
