Non-streaming BRT flights begin

Non-stop metrobus services begin: 34 AS lines will go from Avcılar Campus to Söğütlüçeşme and 34 BZ lines from Beylikdüzü to Zincirlikuyu. The new lines will begin to carry passengers starting Monday, September 8.

Xynx will add a new line to the metrobus line between Sogutlucesme and Beylikduzu.

According to the written explanation from IETT, passengers will be able to pass on non-stop passengers with an arrangement aimed at reducing passenger density and waiting time at stops.

34 AS lines, one of the new lines, will go directly from Avcılar Campus to Söğütlüçeşme. Another new line will be 34 BZ. This line will also operate between Beylikdüzü and Zincirlikuyu and will have 37 stations.

The application, which is the first order of the access model offered by TÜBİTAK, will provide continuity by reviewing the perceptions and expectations of the passengers.

New lines, 8 will begin to carry passengers from Monday to September.

Number of vehicles and distance increased

With the new lines, the number of metrobuses has increased from 460 to 480, and the distance traveled from 160 thousand kilometers to 180 thousand kilometers. The development of the new model was carried out by making journey analyzes. The transition to a staged access model was made by assessing which stops passengers boarded, at which stops, the density of the stops and the demands. If the first phase of the model is successful, IETT will increase the number of long lines.

In addition to the new lines, the previous lines will continue their flights. With the new lines, it is aimed to reduce the passenger density in Zincirlikuyu, increase the capacity and security even more and provide a comfortable journey.
