Çankaya-Yenikent Tramway Opening: The Çankaya-Yenikent tram line, which was constructed by Eskişehir Metropolitan Municipality and Estram, was opened with a ceremony.
According to a written statement made by the Municipality, the ceremony was opened due to the opening of the Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Yilmaz Buyukersen, Odunpazari Mayor Kazim Kurt, Çankaya and Yenikent neighborhood with the muhtar and citizens attended.
In his speech, Büyükerşen stated that Çankaya Mahallesi is the capital of Eskişehir and noted that trams will float on the streets with a swan fever.
At the ceremony, artist Sağmak gave a concert. A firework display was held after the concert.
