Having previously planned as a single tunnel with a large cross-section, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality has transformed the new project into a 'narrow tunneled double tunnel' for the safety of buildings on the line. The new line will take you to the center of Bornova from Evka 3, 1.5, Fahrettin Altay Square to Bornova center and 33 minutes.
Investments in rail systems in İzmir have accelerated in recent years. İZBAN, 80 km line length, 32 station to the north and south of the city; The İzmir Metro is now located on the 20 station on the 17 kilometer, extending east-west.
