Separatists explode railway bridge in Ukraine

In Ukraine, the separatists detonated the railway bridge: pro-Russian separatists detonated the railway bridge near Donetsk as a freight train passed over it.

While clashes continued between the Ukrainian army troops and pro-Russian separatists, many separatists gathered in the city center of Donetsk after the army troops took over Slavyanks, Kramatorsk, Drujkovka, Konstantinovka and Artemivska.

The separatists who fear the Ukrainian army approaching the city are trying to close the city's transportation routes to delay the entry of army troops into the city.

The railway bridge over the Donetsk-Slavyansk-Mariupol highway was detonated by separatists when the freight train passed through this afternoon.

Eyewitnesses, three different bombs placed in different parts of the bridge bursting with a portion of the bridge collapsed, the wagons on the hanging, he said. No one was killed or injured in the incident.

While the road transport was provided by a single lane due to the explosion, teams started work to rescue the freight wagons on the bridge and open the railroad again.
