The bridge over the Harşit River will be connected to the district center

The bridge over the Harşit River will be connected to the district center: The connection between the district and the concrete bridge constructed by DSİ within the scope of the Harşit Creek breeding study will be carried out by the end of the year.
It was reported that the reinforced concrete bridge constructed by DSI in the Torul district within the scope of the rehabilitation work initiated by 5 years ago will be connected to the district by the end of the year.
Speaking to Anadolu Agency (AA), Torul Mayor Nidai Köroğlu stated that the Harşit Stream divides the district into two, the historical Harşit Bridge connecting the two sides and a reinforced concrete bridge built at the entrance to the district 25 years ago.
Köroğlu stated that the third bridge was built for 5 thousand liras in order to relieve the traffic of the district within the scope of the rehabilitation work carried out by DSI on the Harşit Stream 600 years ago, but the bridge could not be connected with the district in the past period, Köroğlu said:
“After taking office in the local elections held on 30 March, we tried to connect the bridge with the district. We called the Municipal Council to an extraordinary meeting and decided to expropriate the lands to be connected with the district. We will constitute an expert commission. The commission will fix the price. We will call the parties to sign for the 538 square meter area to be expropriated. We will complete our work within 2-3 months, at the latest by the end of the year, unless there is any problem or the court stops it. The land in our district is very valuable, so we made zoning renovations to prevent both our municipality and our citizens from financial loss. By the end of the year, we will connect the bridge with our district and provide relief in traffic.
