UPS drivers strike again

UPS drivers strike again: Amsterdam UPS package distributor drivers went on strike again on Monday. Thus, UPS drivers go on strike for the third time in a short time. FNV, drivers in the Transport and Logistics industry said they demand a better collective bargaining agreement.
UPS drivers use the strike to announce their struggle to their counterparts in other settlements.
In the cities of the union, Apeldoorn and Utrecht, the chauffeurs told their colleagues that they were distributing flyers this morning and informing them about the matter.
Workers in road transport have been working for months to get employers to come up with a better wage offer.
Negotiations between trade unions and employers were interrupted earlier this year, when unions demanded a 3 pay increase.
Previously, different actions such as layoffs and strikes were carried out. The requested collective agreement for the Transportation and Logistics sector will cover 140.000 employees.
