Marmaraya Publicly Awarded Project of the Year: The Project of the Century, which has carried nearly 7 million passengers in 30 months since its opening, continues to be the center of attention.
Marmaray was deemed worthy of first place in the “Project of the Year in the Public” category as a result of the survey, in which 184.232 candidates competed in 31 different categories by using 91 votes in the Stars of the Year Survey, organized by a magazine in the monthly economy and business world. Metin AKBAŞ, 1st District Deputy Director and Marmaray Coordinator, received the award at a ceremony held at Yeşilköy Wow Hotel on behalf of TCDD General Manager.
