Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Signed Protocol for 30 Rail System

Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Signed Protocol for 30 Vehicle Rail System: Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality to buy 30 rail vehicle Bozankaya Automotive Machinery Manufacturing Import and Export Co. signed protocol with.
Speaking at the protocol ceremony signed in the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality meeting hall, Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mehmet Özhaseki said, “Today we are here for the signature ceremony of the 30 new rail system vehicle we will buy. The cost of our 30 vehicles is around 42 million euros. As it is known, the story of the rail system in Kayseri lasts almost 30 years. Many of our mayor friends have worked hard to bring Kayseri the rail system before me. It's a right endeavor. Because you cannot achieve the transportation of people in growing cities with private vehicles, taxis, and further expanding the roads. The whole world saw this early and switched to rail systems. ”

Özhaseki continued, “Trams used above ground are valid in cities like ours with an average population of 1 million. Whenever there are overloads in the direction of passengers, if the population exceeds 5 million, then some works such as going underground, making subways, carrying thousands of people there. Especially in cities with a population of 1 million and 2 million like us, our system is valid. So the world accepted it. It continues as the most accurate system. Thank God, we made an effort and Allah Almighty helped us succeed. The rail system came to Kayseri a few years ago. In the first place, we started with a 17 km line. Then another line of 17 kilometers was built. Finally, we reach towards Talas. We finished the İldem line as you know. Currently, the Talas line is about to be finished. We will start operating the Talas line within 3 months. This means that our line expands and gets longer. Our number of vehicles was 22 in the first place. We bought 16 more vehicles later and the number of our vehicles was 38, ”he said.

Stating that they are holding a tender for 30 vehicles, Özhaseki said, “I can proudly say here. It was a job that we now know when we were getting foreigners and foreigners as if they were foreigners. Currently, our friends are working on the rail system route on the Talas line. Our Turkish engineers are working. We are doing it very fast. Again, there is a subject we will be grateful for; In the past, only the Italians, Canadians, and Frenchmen appeared in this subject, and now appeared in very ambitious Turks. It is gratifying for us that a Turk won our tender. In the future, if the conditions become more mature, maybe they will start production in Kayseri. We talked to them about this. I wish this agreement to be beneficial already. ”
