Freight train derailed in Kars: In Sarıkamış district, 3 wagons of the freight train were overturned.
According to the information received, 3 wagons of the freight train that went from Erzurum to the direction of Kars derailed at Acısu location for an unknown reason. Damage occurred as a result of the overturning of 3 wagons loaded with lime and iron.
Erzurum-Kars railway line due to the accident was closed. The work has been started to reopen the path.
In the meantime, it was learned that the Dogu Express, which traveled between Ankara and Kars, was held in Erzurum due to the accident and the passengers were transported to Kars by buses.
