The leader of automotive exports Bursa: about 35 percent of the exports from the automotive sector, the leading exports of Turkey was held in Bursa.
In the first half of the year, 11 billion 717 million 709 thousand dollars of automotive exports were made, while 35 billion 4 million 20 thousand dollars export, which constitutes 273% of this, was made from Bursa.
Bursa, which is produced by important automotive companies such as Oyak Renault, Tofaş, Karsan, and also has a subsidiary industry and a strong automotive industry, takes the 'Lion's share' with its export rate. Turkey Exporters' Assembly (TIM), according to the data obtained in Turkey was made 2 billion 31 million 817 thousand dollars in exports in June. While automotive exports of 6 billion 10 million 542 thousand dollars were made in the first 676 months of last year, 11 billion 11 million 717 thousand dollars exports increased by 709 percent in the same period this year.
“WE COLLECT THE EXPENSE OF 23 BILLION DOLLAR EXPORTS”
In the first 6 months of the year, 4 billion 20 million 273 thousand dollars were exported from Bursa, which has a significant share in the automotive industry. Reminding that they set an export target of $ 21.5 billion for the end of the year, Orhan Sabuncu, Chairman of the Automotive Industry Exporters' Association (OIB), who made an assessment regarding exports, said:
“If we exported 6 billion 11 million dollars in the first 717 months of the year, we will find 12 billion dollars at the end of 23 months. August is the holiday month for automotive. We may experience some stagnation this month, but we catch the export rate of 23 billion dollars. ”
“DIFFICULTIES IN THE ENVIRONMENTAL COUNTRIES ARE NOT IMPACTING THE SECTOR VERY MUCH”
Sabuncu emphasized that exports to EU countries are in good condition and expressed that they do not expect any economic problems in the coming months. Sabuncu, environmental issues in the internal affairs of some of the problems, but this situation will not affect the sector too, he said.
“THERE IS A DECREASE IN THE DOMESTIC MARKET”
Reminding that Bursa is an important city with its automotive main and subsidiary sector, Sabuncu noted that there is a certain performance and that it is protected. Stating that the domestic market is stagnant besides the exports, Sabuncu said that a decrease of 25 percent was recorded. Sabuncu emphasized that the SCT should be lowered gradually.
