Citizens who wanted to go to Uludağ on the 3rd day of the holiday had to go to Bursa by bus and minibuses due to the breakdown of the cable car in the evening. While the citizens were waiting for the evacuation until midnight due to the failure of the cable car to be repaired, some citizens were warmed by lighting a fire when the weather was cold. Citizens who came to Bursa for the Bayram holiday said that they were victims of delayed flight and bus tickets for their return.
Stating that no statement was made by the authorities, Mücahit Aydemir said, “We have been waiting here for 3 hours. We went to Uludağ to show guests around. If it goes on like this, citizens will no longer have confidence in the system. Bursa Metropolitan Municipality officials need to take measures as soon as possible and warn the operating company, ”he said.
The cable car, which is one of the most important symbols of Bursa and recently opened, had malfunctioned on the first day of the feast, and the citizens were evacuated without any problems after 1,5 hours of work.
