Saudi Arabia signs design contract with Systra for Jeddah Metro

Saudi Arabia signed a design contract with Systra for Jeddah Metro: 17 signed a contract in July with the purpose of conducting preliminary engineering design studies with the French Company Systra in Jeddah Metro.

The value of the contract signed with Systra 276 million Saudi Rial (73.59 million dollars).
Systra serves many railway projects in the kingdom. These are: Al Mashaaer Al Mugaddassah Metro Line and extension; Al Haramain High Speed ​​Train Line; North South Railway and King Abdullah Financing Area Monorail project

This engineering work is linked to a transport planning approved by the Council of Ministers last year. In this plan there are three light metro, bus and ferry projects available and the 7 envisages to be completed annually.
