Level Crossings Between Mersin and Adana Are Closing: The 2014rd meeting of Mersin Provincial Coordination Board 3 was held. In the meeting, while the modernization, electrical and signalization works of the railway between Adana and Mersin are continuing, it was given the good news that all 32 level crossings leading to undesired accidents and disasters will be closed and an underpass will be built.
The meeting was also planned to be completed in June, Yenice Logistics Center, which will be the most comprehensive logistics center of the South, with 430 acres of land, and the Adana-Mersin double-track railway transportation project, with 4 million TL appropriation, continues with the Tirmıl Logistics Center. While it was stated that the pedestrian overpass was completed and the modernization, electrical and signaling works of the railroad between Adana and Mersin are continuing, it was given that all 25 level crossings leading to undesired accidents and disasters would be closed and an underpass would be built.
